A bold festival system connecting Afro-inspired dance, Angolan colour references, international artists and the live congress environment.
A culturally grounded festival identity
James led the branding for the Mambos d’Afro 2025 dance congress. Red, orange, gold and black combined with Afro-inspired patterns to create an immediately recognisable campaign world across posters, social media and artist announcements.
The identity celebrated the event’s Afro-Latin dance focus while keeping performer names and event information prominent.
Consistency from screen to venue
Individual artist promotions used shared composition and background rules so a large international lineup remained coherent. Pull-up banners and event signage carried the same palette and visual motifs into the venue.
This continuity turned separate promotional assets into one immersive festival experience.
