A series of portrait-led compositions using landscape, weather, animals and transformation as visual metaphors for individual character.
Portraits built around an idea
The series treats each portrait as a small visual narrative. Chloe Poyiatzi’s forest and dissolving butterflies suggest transformation and growth; Jessica Latham’s clouds and fire create movement and intensity; Sofia Ruiz is framed by fire and smoke to express composure and resilience.
Georgie’s ocean scene combines water, light and birds around freedom and confidence, while Santa’s red dress and rising fire focus on inner strength.
Compositing as character language
For Sol, a human portrait transitions into a lion against a golden savannah, using the environment to communicate leadership and raw power. Across the work, portrait direction, AI-assisted elements and Photoshop finishing are selected to serve a specific symbolic idea rather than a repeated effect.
