Transforming Digital Education Through Innovative Qualification Development
Between 2018 and 2024, while working for Pearson Education, James Jackson played a pivotal role in the development of the BTEC Tech Awards in Digital Information Technology. He was heavily involved in writing the qualification, incorporating three key OFQUAL updates to ensure it remained current and industry-relevant. In addition to this, James designed and developed all the associated learning materials, providing educators with high-quality resources.
He also delivered extensive training sessions to teachers across the UK, both in person and online, helping to equip educators with the knowledge and confidence to effectively teach the programme and enhance digital education nationwide.
